I was aSked to DeSign a corporate Identity for a new company called 'Urban ArtZ'. The company Set up and run Live MuSic FeStivalS / GigS in Hull and throughout the Surrounding region of YorkShire. They were made up of 3 main board memberS, 1 of whom I knew and he aSked me to DeSign their Logo for them. They had lotS of ArtiStS on their bookS Such aS Graffiti ArtiStS, PainterS, IlluStratorS, Movie MakerS, AnimatorS and MuSicianS etc...So I wanted to create Something that could incorporate all theSe into one and that alSo had a very Urban, MuSic feel. I alSo wanted to create Something that had a very Standout feel and would be extremely viSible and eye catching when diSplayed via huge bannerS or Small advertS for upcoming eventS and feStivalS. ThiS would help promote the eventS and alSo help promote the 'Urban ArtZ' Company themSelveS.

I alSo felt that by creating Something with 2 logoS i.e. the title and the head logo, theSe could eventually Stand alone and in a few yearS people could recogniSe 'Urban ArtZ' via juSt the head itSelf. By giving it a very punky pink feel it gave it colour but thiS pink could be changed to Suit the Style of the event Such aS it being a Summer gig, it could be coloured yellow to RepreSent the Sun etc...
