This is the latest project taken on by [82]. Commisioned to design the logo for a new internet based company called 'Scholars Lodge'. the project was to create a unique logo that had a professional yet fresh appeal. Working closely with one of the creators of Scholars Lodge, we agreed that the logo was to look professional so it could be sent out on Corporate Stationary and send the right message, but also that the logo could easily be adapted to just read the initials of the title i.e. 'SL' and could be easily recogniseable as both. The design has a solid straight edge feel with a twist. The Font was created especially for Scholars Lodge and has an interesting twist that all the letters can blend into one when next to each other for the rounded edges. This look transcended into the logo design around the 'SL'. I feel that both Logos work and are obviously recognisable as the Scholars Lodge Logo. [82] will hopefully be collaborating with 'Scholars Lodge' again on Corporate Stationary and even part of their Website design process.
