The competiton waS to DeSign a Winter Holiday Postcard that could be uSed to be Sent out to all the Family and FriendS of (RED) employeeS. They were going to be made up aS PoStcardS and Sent out during the Winter Holiday SeaSon in America. AS a Runner up my PoStcard DeSignS were choSen to be Holiday E-CardS and Set up on a webSite So that anyone wiShing to Spread the word of the (RED) Charity and alSo wiSh their FriendS and RelativeS and a Happy Holiday could Send theSe out via E-Mail. They were extremely SucceSSful and due to the overwhelming SucceSS of theSe firSt Holiday PoStcard DeSignS for (RED), have Since had DeSignS for other HolidayS and Special occaSions Such aS MotherS Day and EaSter etc... (RED) are an internationally renound charity for helping to prevent poverty within the third world. FeStivals and high profile eventS have raiSed awareneSS and celebritieS Such aS 'Bono' from 'U2' and companieS Such aS 'gap', apple and 'vodafone' have alSo tried to raiSe awareneSS of their cauSe by Selling limited edition (red) productS.
